“Bakuten” is going to launch its first movie project

An official staff for the “Bakuten!!” (Backflip!!), based on the TV anime of the same title manga, has announced a new trailer for the project. The video also introduces the title track “Bokura no IPPO” performed by the band Wacci.

Anime “Bakuten!!” set in Miyagi Prefecture, is one of three anime series under the “Zutto Ouen Project 2011 + 10…” project to promote the three prefectures of Miyagi, Iwate and Fukushima (the other two anime series are “Misaki no Mayoiga” and “Hula Fulla Dance”). The project was made in memory of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami

Anime “Bakuten!!” is about a high school boys’ rhythmic gymnastics team. The main character is Shoutarou Futaba, a guy who is passionate about rhythmic gymnastics and has joined the boys’ rhythmic gymnastics team of Soshukan High. He befriends his classmate Ryouya Misato, who is popular in the school’s rhythmic gymnastics tournaments, working together towards big goals.
