The first 3 episodes of “Rwby: Hyousetsu Teikoku” will be broadcast continuously!

The official website for the brand new TV anime series “RWBY: Hyousetsu Teikoku” (RWBY: Ice Queendom) based on Rooster Teeth’s RWBY series has announced it will stream the first 3 episodes for 3 consecutive days on YouTube before it officially aired on television.

Especially, the first 3 episodes will be broadcast on the YouTube platform from 8 pm Japan time on June 24 until 11:59 pm Japan time on the 26th June. Episodes will only air within Japan, while Crunchyroll with Aniplus will stream outside of Japan.

The team will host a YouTube live stream an hour before to chat with the audience. It’s currently unclear whether Crunchyroll or Aniplus will feature directly from the chat. 

RWBY is a fantasy world filled with terrible monsters that aim for death and destruction, and humanity’s only hope is to depend on powerful Huntsmen and Huntresses. Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long are four such Huntresses being trained to take them far beyond the Beacon academy campus where they are studying. Although each possess their own unique strengths, these four girls must overcome the dark forces and work as a team if they truly hope to become the next generation of Remnant defenders.

The anime series will officially air from July 5 .
