Ao No Orchestra – Prodigy Violinist

NHK has announced that the TV anime  “Ao no Orchestra (The Blue Orchestra)”  adaptated from Makoto Akui’s manga will premiere on NHK E in spring 2023.

Jun Sakata will be the executive producer of the anime.

In the fall of his third and final year of junior high, Hajime Aono – a prodigy violinist, stopped playing the violin due to his personal reasons. But that same year, he met a girl who told about a high school with a group of prestigious students. Suddenly, the gears in the clock of Aono’s life began to spin again. This is a youth story that brings harmony between music and heart!

Makoto Akui launched the manga on Shogakukan’s Manga ONE app in 2017.
