Instead of season 5, “Haikyuu!” announced the final two movies
At the “Haikyuu!! x V.League Allstar Special ‘The Volleyball'” event held on 13/8 in Tokyo, it was confirmed that instead of season 5, an anime adaptation of the “Haikyuu!!” written by Haruichi Furudate will have two final movie versions.
New visuals as well as trailers have been announced. In addition, the film’s kick-off event will be held this August. The two upcoming movies will also continue the story of the television anime series.
“Who will we become tomorrow?” is the saying expressed in the visual.
At the same time, at the event, the play “Gekidan Haikyu!!” will be performed on stage next year, 2023.
The first season of the series aired in April 2014 and the second season in October 2015. Shortly after that, about a year later in October 2016, the third season was released. The first half for the fourth season was aired in January 2020 and the second half in July 2020, but was later delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic to October 2020.
