“Lycoris Recoil” releases new image and trailer ahead of the hot episodes

The official website and social media account for the “Lycoris Recoil” television anime announced a new image along with a trailer that reveals the anime’s content. Since its debut, the popularity of “Lycoris Recoil” has been increasing, attracting more and more people to watch the series, and in this week the final episodes of the television anime will officially begin.

Video game producer Hideo Kojima has raved about the series wholeheartedly on social media, and as a result, his comments have appeared on a spin-off novel coming out this September.

Not only popular in the anime, the sub-novel written about the daily life of Chisato and Takina Inoue also received the warm reception from the audience. Orders exceeded expectations, resulting in the novel having to be reprinted even before its release date, in unprecedented numbers.

Takina Inoue, a high school girl working as a member of an all-female taskforce of assassins and spies known as “Lycoris” dispatched to eliminate criminals and terrorists in Tokyo, is sanctioned by her superiors at the DA agency for disobeying orders in order to save a colleague. She is transferred to work with the elite Lycoris agent Chisato Nishikigi at one of the agency’s branches, which operates under the cover of a cafe, called “LycoReco”.
