“Overlord” Announces The New Movie Project

Recently, the official website for the “Overlord” anime series revealed the first visual for the movie project, fully titled “Overlord the Movie: The Holy Kingdom Arc”. The film will be based on the famous Holy Kingdom arc in the original light novel.

Visual is Ainz Ooal Gown with Remedios Custodio and Neia Baraja.

Meanwhile, the fourth season of the “Overlord” anime series has also been released since July 5. Until now, about 7 episodes have been released.

“Overlord” is a Japanese light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. The series began online in 2010, before being acquired by Enterbrain. 16 volumes have been published since July 2012.

Madhouse has also adapted the series into a television anime, consisting of 4 seasons with 13 episodes each. The first season released from July to September 2015. Two film projects that recap the events of the first season premiered in Japan in February and March 2017 until the second season. The second season was released from January to April 2018 and the third season from July to October 2018.
