“Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible” – (Kubo-san wa Mobu o Yurusanai) Unveils More Cast, Premiere in January 2023.
Kadokawa announced two additional cast members and the January 2023 premiere date for the television anime “Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible” (Kubo-san wa Mob o Yurusanai) manga by author Nene Yukimori on Wednesday. Kadokawa also posted the anime’s second key visual:
The anime cast include:
- Kana Hanazawa as Nagisa Kubo
- Kengo Kawanishi as Junta Shiraishi
- Miku Itо̄ as Akina Kubo, Nagisa’s older sister
- Sora Amamiya as Saki Kubo, Nagisa and Akina’s cousin
The production team include:
- Director: Kazuomi Koga at studio Pine Jam
- Series script: Yūya Takahashi
- Character design: Yoshiko Saitō
High school student Junta Shiraishi is so ordinary and quiet that his classmates and teachers do not notice him at all, as if he were a mob character in a video game, that is, until his female classmate Kubo pays attention to him and dares him to do things that would make him stand out.
Yukimori launched the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in October 2019. The manga also runs on the Shonen Jump+ website and app. Shueisha published the manga’s ninth volume on May 18
