The Final Episode of “Cuckoo’s Fiancee” – Kakkō no Iinazuke anime will last for an hour

On Tuesday, Kadokawa confirmed that the “Cuckoo’s Fiancee” – (Kakkō no Iinazuke) TV anime series based on the manga of the same name by author Miki Yoshikawa confirmed that the final episode will last about an hour, including episode 23 & episode 24, and will be aired on the upcoming October 1st.

 The anime series has aired since April 23 for two consecutive quarters. 

Nagi Umino is a 17-year old second-year high school student who learns that he is not the biological child of the family that raised him. On the way to his first meeting with his biological family he meets Erika Amano, a popular internet celebrity who is trying to escape from an arranged marriage. Later, Nagi and Erika discover that their parents had accidentally switched the two after their births and were now aiming to put them in an arranged marriage. To facilitate this, they are made to live in a house owned by Erika’s family.

Kakkou no Iinazuke is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshikawa Miki. The series was originally published as a one-shot in September 2019, before starting a serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen magazine in January 2020. As of January 2022, the series has been serialized the chapters into 10 vol.
