“Murai no Koi” – Murai in Love

Recently, the official Twitter for the manga “Murai no Koi” (Murai in Love) by author Junta Shima has confirmed that the project will be adapted into an anime. The current announcement still does not reveal the format or the official air date for the film.

The story revolves around the famous high school student Murai, he confessed his feelings for teacher Tanaka, a female fan of otome games for girls. When Tanaka flatly rejected Murai’s advances, Murai returned with a new look: new hair, new style, all modeled after Tanaka’s favorite character from an otome game. Now Murai begins his quest to become Tanaka’s dream man.

Shima launched the manga on Kadokawa’s Gene Line manga service in June 2018. Kadokawa published the manga’s seventh compiled book volume on June 2018.
